Whilst the wine's unique flavour and characteristics are unaffected by the Van Borselen Filters PES membrane filter, all wine spoilage organisms can be safely and reliably removed prior to bottling, thus extending the shelf life of the wine.

The optical brightness of a bottled mineral water is possibly the first measure of quality for many consumers. The clarity of a bottled mineral water can be influenced by a number of factors, including quality of the water source, airborne bacterial contamination from storage vessel vents and carbonating systems.
